Tree Pruning
Tree pruning and trimming encompass a wide spectrum of specific services involving the removal of branches from a living tree or shrub. The first step is to meet with one of our ISA Certified Arborists who will evaluate the specific needs of your trees before making recommendations.
Properly pruning your trees and shrubs is an essential part of keeping your landscape beautiful and strong. Through proper pruning, you maintain the health and improve the quality of flowers, fruit, foliage, and limbs to prevent overgrowth. Proper pruning also decreases damage due to heavy rain, wind, and ice storms.
Stump Grinding & Removal
Tree stumps are not only unattractive; they can also create safety concerns and increase insect activity on your property. As a cost-effective alternative to pulling or digging up tree stumps, we offer a stump grinding service. Stump grinding is a mechanical process that destroys stumps in a neat and efficient manner. The stump grinder grinds the stump into mulch, which can then be easily removed or recycled and used in a garden. The stump grinder goes 10″-12″ deeper than ground level, to ensure that no physical trace of the stump remains in view and the l which it occupied will be fully usable. After the stump is ground, the hole left behind is filled with soil and planted with grass or replanted with a new tree!
Tree Cabling
Trees sometimes need a little help to keep them safe and to maintain a pleasing shape. Through the use of cables and brace rods, additional support can be placed within the tree to reduce the potential of failure due to internal decay or poorly attached limbs.
Successful application of bracing–cabling support systems to trees largely depends on the experience of the arborist and the specific situation. An ISA Certified Arborist is extensively trained in the technical elements of selecting, sourcing, and planting trees and shrubs and held to a continuing education requirement.
Installing Tree Bracing & Cabling:
- Provide additional strength to areas of weakness
- Limit brand or tree movement
- Reduce the risk of failure potential
- Prevent weak unions from failing
